It's been a month since my last post. Man, I remember a point in time where I couldn't go a week without making some sort of update because I just had so much going on. I mean, it's not like I have nothing going on right now. In fact, I'm pretty swamped. I just don't feel comfortable talking about some things yet. A lot has changed in that respect.
I've got a ton of things I need to do. Some people (me) like to think that they are incredibly gifted multi-taskers. But what usually ends up happening is, you take on a huge workload and instead of focusing on one thing at a time you jumble it all up and end up working on nothing in the process.
But enough about that. What's going on?
BRIMSTONE TERRACE EPISODE 4:
I'm working on it. Next!
PINK ELEPHANT PODCAST:
Episode...um...9? I think it's 9...Episode 9 of The Pink Elephant Podcast is out! Our wonderful host, Joey Crozier, has returned to reclaim his spot so that you won't have to hear me try to play host. I might have said in a previous post that I really don't enjoy being show runner on a podcast (anymore) so I'm really glad Joey is still doing it for this show.
Anyway, what goes on in this spectacular new episode!? Well, it's almost 2 hours long so it's pretty packed with content. Joey, Jamie and I try to play a bit of catch up but end up talking about other things instead. These topics range from "The Snowpocalypse", lessons in history and how things work, Christmas in Australia and as always we managed to throw in some masturbation jokes as well.
It's a pretty good episode. Hard to believe we've been doing this show for almost a year now. Well, sort of. We did take a 6 month break. But still, hard to believe. Feels, man. Feels.
You can find the new episode HERE and there should be a newer one coming very soon if all continues to go well.
I won't be able to really talk much about anything here. But I'll do my best to get some sort of point across. As I said earlier, I've got a lot on my plate. Priority #1 is episode 4 of Brimstone and finishing the first season in general. But I'm also switching between that and some side projects. Most of this is playing writer/producer on series and short films. I wish I could talk more about it, but I think that would be a bad idea.
One of those projects is obviously "The Controller". Or as it is now called "The Controller: Cease Control", but I'm probably not going to bother including the sub-title. As you can tell, it's been going through some developmental changes. I had to play a bit of catch up this week and figure out where I stand with my work on the show. I kind of have to start from scratch. But that shouldn't be an issue seeing as I sort of wanted to anyway.
I don't really know any specifics on when anything is happening with any of these projects, it's going to be a while. But when they happen, you'll know.
Anyway, I'm starting to ramble and this post slowly starting to feel more like a diary so I should probably wrap this up some how.
Adam is so freaking hot. I hope he asks me to prom. That would be wicked cool.

I figured it was time for another update. But, my updates will sort become a bit more vague. I've learned that if I start talking about something before all of my ducks are in a row, that thing is cursed to not happen. Of course that isn't really the case, but it sure as hell comes off that way. Anyway, enough talking about nothing, ON TO ACTUAL THINGS!
I'm still working on it. Episodes take at the very least 2 months to produce. This one will take a while. But I have recruited a bit of extra help for one of the later phases of animation.
Not much to report. Just wanted to stop in and assure you I'm working on it.
Remember in that update video when I said I'd be going to Chicago to help direct the first episode? Yeah...see my comment about organizing ducks above ^.
A lot of things ended up not working out and making that not happen. It's not that big of a loss. I'm sure it will end up fine any way and it actually allows me to have more money for something else.
I'm working on something else. Very hush hush. But I will say it has nothing to do with that image I posted a while ago. Ducks, man. Very excited for that thing. More info when there is info. (This is very far away, by the way)
ANOTHER SOMETHING ELSE:
I have something really small I'm going to be doing very soon. Hopefully.
...AREN'T THESE THINGS EXCITING!?
Until next time, I've been Tyler W. Moore. You haven't. Good bye.
-Tyler W. Moore
I posted up a long overdue update video. Crazy how things have changed since the first iteration of this, but at it's core it's still the same.
Good evening boys and girls,
I come bearing good and bad news. So lets dive right in shall we?
Simply put, it’s not happening. For now at least. It’s being put on the shelf. We were skating on thin ice to begin with. There were a lot of things still up in the air. But, dealing with an certain actor’s union and complications with travel plans fucked it all up. I’m pretty disappointed that it happened. But honestly, there is quite a bit of relief that I won’t be pulling my hair out for the next 3 weeks. So this leads into some other things...
I do plan to start making some sketches this month. I’m finally coming back after a bit of a hiatus. I’ve got plenty of material that should be good after some touching up. But the one I plan on doing first has a script ready to go and I honestly think it is the funniest thing I have ever done. It will be quite the comeback.
I don’t know just yet when you should expect these things. But ya know...just...expect them.
So I am finished with my pitch video. It’s not exactly what I wanted it to be. But I think it’s good nonetheless. This show is reeking of talent and potential, so I’m really hoping that the pitch I should be doing very soon will go over well.
Cross your fingers, pray to whatever god(s) you believe in or just give me your sincerest wish of luck, because I really hope this works.
Speaking of pitches. The trailer for “The Controller” (a show I write for) was finished and released. The trailer was used as a pitch to Machinima. Unfortunately, they didn’t really like it. But the show goes on. I’m currently writing the pilot and I’m assuming that they are going to try and produce the show all by themselves. Here is their IndieGoGo campaign.
I’m so fucking sick of IndieGoGo campaigns!!!
THE PINK ELEPHANT PODCAST:
Oh and how could I forget about this lovely thing?
Last week we didn’t do an average episode it was just our wonderful host Joey, some penis named Zedd and myself doing a bit of an indie music showcase. Kind of like a radio type thing. There are some really cool tunes and Joey & I improvise some pretty awesome commercials.
You should definitely check that out HERE.
As I type this we just finished recording another episode. In this one we swap stories and in celebration of May the 4th, we chat about Star Wars. There are a few errors thanks to one person named James, but it’s up now. So check it out HERE.
ONE LAST THING:
I know what you’re thinking. "Tyler, if you aren’t doing DELIRIUM, then does that mean you won’t be putting out a feature or even a short this year?” Well, that young lad, is an excellent question. Up until recently that would have been a sad yes. But no longer! I have plans for a feature-length comedy to be shot later this month. It’s still really rough (doesn’t have a script), but I think if I do it right, it will be awesome. I THINK it will come out by the end of this year...I THINK...
Anyway, these are the things that are currently set in motion.
More news when it...ya know...happens. Dude, fuck, whatever! I’m bad at ending these! Leave me alone!
-Tyler W. Moore
I have been a busy beaver. Still don’t have any videos of my own to show for it. But hey! I’ve been like...doing other stuff...’KAY!?
DANIEL IS ON YOUTUBE:
If you asked me to do this a month ago, I would have humbly asked you to eat a bag of dicks. But ever since this film’s release, I’ve totally understood the fact that a sock puppet short film probably wouldn’t seem worth 10$. It’s because of this that very few people have seen the film, which is disappointing. I think it’s one of my better screenplays and no one has seen it. So this is your chance. It is now on YouTube (HERE).
BUT don’t expect me to do this everytime I put a movie up for sale. DELIRIUM will be and I will stand firm on that one.
PINK ELEPHANT PODCAST:
I think I mentioned last time that I’m a co-host on a new podcast. There have been two new episodes since then.
In EPISODE 1 we talk about shitty jobs we’ve had and crazy encounters with the opposite sex.
Then in EPISODE 2 we b.s. for a little while with stories about famous people, music talk and other things. Then as we run out of things to talk about, Joey and Izzy get drunk.
These two were pretty entertaining. If you want to subscribe on iTunes, you can do so HERE.
RAIN S2S3 COMMENTARY:
In my last update I posted about the newest installment of RAIN. The director’s commentary has been released and I (along with Izzy Dulay) am a guest on it. I talk about voicing and developing my characters and I give advice to aspiring voice actors. You can give that a listen HERE. Also, if you haven’t seen the episode itself and want to, you can give it a watch HERE.
“What the fuck is that,” you ask. It’s a show by Tranter Films that will be pitched to Machinima in the near future. Why do I bring it up? I was brought on as a writer for it.
I recently wrote a trailer. I’m told it’s really good...
We’ll see what the future holds for this. But I might also mention that they are doing a kickstarter for it on IndieGoGo. You can donate HERE.
I know I’m a gigantic kickstarter whore. Not my fault this time, BRO!
Speaking of kickstarters...DELIRIUM’S IS DONE! We only raked in about 255$ out of it. But that’s still something! I’m not going to have the camera I wanted and I’m going to be very restricted with the budget, but we will be able to make this film.
We recently just got over a huge pre-production crisis that almost meant the end of the film, but we got through it. This next month is going to be so chaotic. But I’m thinking the end product will be well worth it.
I’m going to spend a bunch of money now.
