Figured I would pop in here and give a quick update for episode 3.
If you didn't see the Facebook post, which I know you didn't, the hard drive issue has been fixed.
I'm currently 85% done with the second phase of animation and Chris is helping get a head start on the final phase. We still have a few weeks ahead of us, but the episode will be coming very soon.
I'm very excited to see what people will think of this one, as I think it's the best one so far.
As for anything else, if you've been following anything regarding the podcast, we were trying to put together a Holiday Special. But schedule conflicts and everyone being sick all time screwed that up. But Joey and I are really trying to get it back on track for the new year.
Also, I made a Vine. Follow me on that if you're in to it. I don't really care.
Hopefully I'll have some awesome news for you soon. I've a busy new year ahead of me and I'm greatly looking forward to it.

So for all two of you who care and all 0 of you who read these posts, Episode 3 is suffering a second massive delay. The PC I have used to animate the first two episodes on kicked the bucket. That wasn’t really a problem. The thing is around 8 years old and didn’t have much function outside of using photoshop. The problem is, it contains a bunch of backgrounds and models that I stupidly didn’t back up anywhere. These files are essential because they save a lot of time. If I had to make them again, it would probably take another month.
So the plan right from the get go was to get the hard drive out and dump the files on an external drive and use my main computer to do all of the animation work. Unfortunately, the was a miscommunication with the person who I gave the computer to and they thought they were meant to try and fix it.
They got the PC to the point where it could at least turn on. So you would think, okay, that’s just as good. I can just backup the files myself, right?
Well, between being snowed in, working and the computer have more problems than we thought, I couldn’t even get that done.
So what I have to do at this point is order something off of ebay to basically turn my hard drive into an external drive. But of course, this could take about a week before I even get it shipped here.
My original plan was to finish the episode before Christmas. Well, that’s not going to happen. There’s even a strong chance that all of this effort might be for nothing. Blip has really been cracking down and trimming the fat. Trust me, I’m fully aware of how fatty my show is.
I don’t hit deadlines, I don’t rake in views and subsequently I don’t rake in money for them either. I honestly don’t know how I’ve kept the show for as long as I have. The only way I’ve helped the deadline situation is by posting up audio commentaries and no one even watches those.
I’m pretty sure they might be lenient enough with me that whatever extra time it takes, they’ll let me get away with it...for some reason.
So the point is just know that, as always, you’ll have to wait a little longer for the next episode and I’m trying my hardest to get everything back on track.
Just remember, if you think you’re bummed out about this, you’re not even close to the level of disappointment I’m at. I’m pretty livid about the whole situation. Mainly because I have no control over the situation. It’s nobody’s fault really. But everyone will assume it’s mine. Including me.
